IBMS-KMU Participates in HEC’s "AI Literacy for Faculty Members" Training Program
Faculty members from the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences (IBMS), Khyber Medical University (KMU) participated in the four-day “AI Literacy for Faculty Members: Building AI-Ready Institutions” training program organized by the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. The training was conducted through Smart Classrooms, with faculty from around 100 universities across Pakistan participating online. The program focused on practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and learning, assessment, research, data analytics, academic administration, prompt engineering, and responsible AI use.
The workshop emphasized the responsible integration of AI in higher education, with particular attention to academic integrity, privacy, fairness, transparency, and human oversight. Participation in this national capacity-building initiative reflects IBMS-KMU’s commitment to strengthening faculty AI literacy and promoting innovative, responsible, and technology-enabled education.
