Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar announced four new courses in various disciplines at different levels; these courses were approved in 6th meeting of the KMU Academic Council. This meeting was held here at IBMS under the chairman ship of VC KMU Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hafizullah.

Interviews for the Master in Health Research Programme will be held at 09:30 am at Khyber Medical University, PDA Building, Phase-V, Hayatabad, Peshawar.

KIMS has been formally affiliated with KMU, Peshawar to fulfill a longstanding demand of the students and parents.  The affiliation of KIMS was transferred from the KUST to the KMU at a ceremony held at Governor House in Peshawar. KMU VC Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hafizullah and KUST VC Prof. Dr. Nasir Jamal Khattak signed the transfer deed.
Minister for Health Syed Zahir Ali Shah, Minister for Higher Education Qazi Mohammad Asad, Provincial secretaries of the respective departments were also present at the occasion.

Khyber Medical University in collaboration with the Aga Khan University and Johns Hopkins University is organizing an “Emergency Medicine Workshop” from November 25 – 27, 2011 at Khyber Medical University, Peshawar.

Registration is open at first come first serve basis (limited seats)  for doctors and supporting staff working in the Emergency/Casualty , Trauma, Surgery, Radiology and Orthopaedics departments of Public and Private sector hospitals in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Province .

Khyber Medical University will conduct the Entrance Test for admission in Post(RN) , BSN and DPT under the Skill Development Program of Department of Health,Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 30th October , 2011 at Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology (PICO), Hayatabad Medical Complex , Phase 4 Hayatabad Peshawar. All the students are advised to collect their roll number slips from Post Graduate College of Nursing , Plot No. 25-27 B2 Phase 5 Hayatabad Peshawar.
All the students are directed to reach the venue of the test at 7:00 A.M .
