Quantifying Image using Image J (RF-1)

This was the first of a series of workshops scheduled under the umbrella of the Research Forum of Basic medical sciences.

Image J is a software used the world over for analysis and presentation of microscopic images.

Aim:

The objective of the workshop was for participants to learn about basics of quantifying and microscopic analysis on images using software Image j for research.

After the initial Welcome & Introduction the participants were guided by Dr Zilli Huma on how to download and Install Image J. Some background and principles of IHC were explained before the practical analysis of IHC images. The session end with a Q & A, feedback, certificates, and lunch.

 

Participant’s: There were a total of 21 participants selected on first come first basis out of 49 applicants. These included MPhil, PhD scholars as well as senior faculty from the university as well as affiliated colleges.
