Provisional Merit list for Admission in M. Phil Programme, Session Spring 2018

IBMS Research Symposia are conducted twice each month. The purpose of the symposia is to provide an opportunity to faculty members and students, and external researchers to present their latest work, or discuss latest trends in research.

First ever clinical trial was conducted in clinical trial room of Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Khyber Medical University Peshawar. This first clinical trial room was inaugurated on April 2017. This leads to a new era of clinical research in KPK Provence of Pakistan. The trial was conducted by 3 M.Phil. Scholars: Meera  Tanveer, Aqsa Zubair and Fouzia Nawab under the supervision of Dr. Sadia Fatima (Assistant Professor Biochemistry) . We are looking for some valuable research in the field of clinical nutrition and biochemistry.

Introduction to new PhD scholars in IBMS, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Molecular biology and genetics, Microbiology by Dean Basic sciences Prof Dr Jawad Ahmed.

The Bi-Annual Research day of Anatomy was conducted at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Khyber Medical University. The aim is to,

• Encourage students to develop an analytical and critical view of research
• Impart the importance of research to junior students and extend an environment of mentoring amongst students at various levels of their research
• Enable networking with invited guests from other departments
