IBMS Bi-monthly Research Symposium conducted

IBMS Research Symposia are conducted twice each month. The purpose of the symposia is to provide an opportunity to faculty members and students, and external researchers to present their latest work, or discuss latest trends in research.

 

This months external symposium was presented by Dr Muhammad Zahoor who is working as a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Oslo, Norway. He presented his comprehensive work on the role of Hypoxia in upregulation of IL-32 and consequent increase in bone lesions in cases of multiple myeloma. At the end of the talk, he engaged with the participants in the question answer session. 

 

This weeks meeting was attended by the Dean Basic Medical Sciences, Director IBMS along with other faculty members, M Phil and PhD students and laboratory staff of IBMS.
